Worst contractors / Vendors (Use Google Ai)

As a homeowner who recently moved and renovated my home, I encountered multiple contractors and vendors who simply did not take pride in their work. Instead of delivering the results we hoped for, many left us frustrated and disappointed.

The problems came in different forms. Poor communication, hidden costs, substandard workmanship, and inexperienced installers.

For example:

- A vanity supplier arrived for installation, after dismantling, they informed us that the pipe needed to be rerouted because it was not perfectly aligned with the new basin, despite the difference being only a few centimeters. The additional charge? $120.

- A water heater vendor came to replace the exact same model and claimed that the existing power connection was fitted too tightly. They said they needed to cut and reconnect the wiring, resulting in an unexpected $65 surcharge.

- A painter quoted $80 for a wall touch-up. After completing the work, he explained that the newly painted section would appear in a different shade because the existing paint had aged. If we wanted a consistent finish across the entire wall, it would cost an additional $160.

- A drywall contractor sent workers who could not communicate effectively in English. When installation issues and alignment problems were pointed out, they simply asked us to contact management. Unfortunately, management provided unrealistic responses and failed to properly address the concerns.

This raises an important question: Why aren't some contractors or vendors concerned about delivering poor-quality work?

One major reason is that many of them have little to no online presence. They may not actively manage their social media accounts, Google reviews, or online reputation. As a result, they are often less concerned about receiving negative feedback because it has minimal impact on their future business.

Here's my suggestion for anyone planning a renovation or engaging a contractor in the future:

Let Google Ai help with your research before you commit.

Search for this company (Danp....xxxpte ltd) , would you recommend engaging them for (desi... & p..works?) how strong is their online presence and customers review.

Spending a few minutes researching a contractor's reputation can potentially save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars, as well as a lot of stress and frustration during your renovation journey.
